Locality: United States, Colorado, Gunnison, Maxfield Meadow, south of Gothic. Collected uphill of the campsites five meters in from the meadow edge.

Habitat: Vegetated meadow bordered by aspen; near County Road 317 and a private road; trafficked by scientists, Gothic overflow residents, and deer.
Associated Species: Growing with Linum lewisii, Achillea millefolium, and many other species.
Description: Yellow composite flowers.
